- Replace your worn out gasket seal in your Gamma2 or LEAKTITE 12” Bucket Lid with a brand new upgraded/updated o-ring seal. Fits Gamma2 and LEAKTITE 12” Bucket Lids for 3.5, 5, 6, and 7 gallon buckets.
- The new updated/upgraded o-ring design is slightly thicker and is molded from solid-core buna nitrile rubber rather than the original hollow o-ring. The o-ring is fully molded and does not have a glued seam (a common failure point on the original o-ring). The black color allows for clear visibility of the o-ring in the groove. These new features amount to a tougher o-ring that won’t overstretch and wear out like the original, providing a long lasting air-tight seal.
- Package contains three (3) replacement o-rings.
- Compatible with Gamma2 and LEAKTITE threaded/screw-on lids only (see photos for details). Not compatible with standard 5 gallon clip-on bucket lids.
Restore your air-tight seal on your Gamma2 or LEAKTITE bucket lid with Captain O-Ring’s upgraded/updated replacement o-rings without having to buy a whole new bucket/lid. These o-rings are compatible with screw-on/threaded Gamma2 and LEAKTITE 12” bucket lids. These lids are compatible with 3.5, 5, 6, and 7 gallon buckets. The package contains three (3) o-rings; so you can replace multiple seals, or just fix one lid and have spares on hand for the future.
These new updated and upgraded o-rings are an improvement upon the original o-ring design. The original o-rings were hollow-core and white in color, they also featured a glued seam where two ends of cord were glued together to create the o-ring. These new upgraded o-rings are fully molded (no more glued seam that fails easily) and are solid-core buna nitrile rubber for a heavy-duty, long lasting, air-tight seal.
The o-rings have a service temperature of -60F to 250F, and can tolerate even higher temperatures intermittently. Buna nitrile rubber has a wide array of chemical resistances, and is compatible with petroleum/oil based products, paints, cooking oils, many cleaners, etc.
To install, simply remove the old o-ring from the lid and slip on the new upgraded o-ring in the o-ring groove. Screw the lid back on and you’re ready to experience a better seal on your Gamma2 bucket lid!
These o-rings are NOT compatible with standard clip-on 5 gallon bucket lids that are commonly found in hardware stores. They are for the screw-on/threaded Gamma2/LEAKTITE style lids only (see photos for details).
