- The new updated/upgraded o-ring design is slightly thicker and is molded from solid-core synthetic rubber rather than the original hollow o-ring. The o-ring is fully molded and does not have a glued seam (a common failure point on the original o-ring). The black color allows for clear visibility of the o-ring in the groove. These new features amount to a tougher o-ring that won’t overstretch and wear out like the original, providing a long lasting air-tight seal. - The 2.0 lid (lid diameter just under 10”) is featured on the following models: 4308, 4315, 4328, 4338, 4340, 4409, 4412. See photos for more info on size, or measure your lid to confirm. This o-ring measures about 8-3/4” across to fit the 2.0 10” lid.
- The 5.0 Lid (lid diameter just under 12”) is featured on the following models: 4310, 4325, 4330, 4350, 4380, 4360, 4552. See photos for more info on size, or measure your lid to confirm. This o-ring measures about 10-3/4” across to fit the 5.0 12” lid.
